Roshon Estates Development - Update

UPDATE:  IN FEB. 08, IT WAS DECIDED BY THE TOWNSHIP ADMINISTRATION THAT NO REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO BUILD IS NECESSARY.  THE 5 + 2  RULES WILL APPLY TO THIS DEVELOPMENT.  WITH CHANGES MADE TO THIS DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AT SOME POINT THE ROSHON DEVELOPERS WILL HAVE TO TAKE THIS BACK TO THE TOWNSHIP FOR APPROVAL.

Trustee Ety announced at the Nov. 20th, 2006 Township Trustee meeting that this property is under new ownership but didn't say by whom.  The new owners ran into a problem with the development plan as proposed.  Mr. Ety said that Fairfield County subdivision regulations no longer allow access roads strictly for use by emergency vehicles, as is proposed in the Roshon Estates plans.  Ety said that any change to the plan would likely go before the Township Zoning Commission, not the Trustees.   This is regarding the Planned Unit Development (P.U.D.) located at Stoudertown Road and Heimberger Lane.  Watch for further updates!
