LIBERTY TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Minutes for a meeting held on
August 15, 2011

1. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Keller at 7:30 PM at 2095 Baltimore-Reynoldsburg Road, Baltimore, Ohio, with the Pledge of Allegiance.
   
   

   Roll Call:		Dave L. Keller - present
   		Ivan Ety - present
   		Randy Kemmerer - present
   		David C. Keller - present
   		Ruth Crutcher - present
   		Dan Alt was absent
   Zoning Inspector, Ruth Crutcher will be acting clerk.

2. The minutes for August 1, 2011, were approved as presented.
   
   
3. Comments from the floor: None
   
   
4. The acting clerk gaave the fiscal report:
   
   A. The report is attached. (ORRD Note: Please contact the Liberty Township Office for report.)
   
   B. Trustee Ety moved to approve warrants 13082 thru 13093. Trustee Kemmerer seconded the motion.
   
   

   Roll call:		Ety - yes
   		Kemmerer - yes
   		Keller - yes

5. Road Supervisor Keller gave his report:
   
   A. Tar & Chipping is in progress and hopes to finish Tuesday, August 16th.
   
   B. Suggested sending Thank You to Greenfield Twp. for their help.
   
   
6. Zoning Inspector gave her report:
   
   A. Wrote permit for addition to finish house started 4 or 5 years ago.
   
   
7. Old Business:
   
   A. Heimberger Lane - dirt piles will be moved soon, after tar & chipping is finished.
   
   B. Tall grass at 11199 Ann Dr. - Part of front yard has been mowed, but no side or back yard areas.
   
   C. Trustee Kemmerer moved to declare 11199 Ann Dr., and 1810 Bickel Church Rd. each a nuisance due to high grass, and start proper process to have them mowed. Trustee Ety seconded the motion.
   
   

   Roll call:		Kemmerer - yes
   		Ety - yes
   		Keller - yes

   
   Trustee Kemmerer will issue proper notices and arrange for mowing.
   
   D. John Deere Mower:
   
   

   	A. Trustee Kemmerer reported he had inspected proposed 2004 John Deere, 25 HP mower, and feels it is a good buy, at a price of $5750.00.
   	B. Trustee Kemmerer moved to make PO to purchase 2004 John Deere, 25 HP mower for cemetery mowing for next year, at a price of $5750.00. Trustee Ety seconded the motion.
   	C. Discussion - Trustee Keller feels, due to age of mower, an offer of $5000.00 should be made before purchasing. Roll call:  Kemmerer - yes                   Ety - yes                   Keller - no

8. New Business:
   
   A. Trustee Keller attended Budget Hearing, in the absence of Fiscal Officer. Proposed budget was approved.
   
   B. No correspondence.
   
   
9. At 8:03 PM Trustee Kemmerer moved to adjourn and Trustee Ety seconded the motion.
   Roll Call: all in favor.
