CARROLL -- The former principal of Canal Winchester High School will become the new face of Bloom-Carroll Local Schools later this month when he takes over as superintendent of the district.

Lynn Landis, 50, was hired by the Bloom-Carroll Board of Education on Jan. 25 to replace former superintendent Roger Mace, who left the district in September to head the Gallipolis City School district. Landis was one of 18 people who applied for the position at Bloom-Carroll.

He has more than 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, assistant principal and principal and will earn $104,000 per year.

This past week, he answered several questions for the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette about himself, his experience and his goals for Bloom-Carroll Local Schools.
