Scott Brown to replace Marsha Hall, starting Feb. 27

BALTIMORE --The village will have a new administrator starting Feb. 27.

The Baltimore Village Council on Monday night approved the selection of Scott Brown to be the next administrator.

"He comes with a wealth of experience in dealing with water and waste water issues," Baltimore Mayor Bob Kalish said. "He also has obtained a number of grants and is very familiar with the grant writing process."

Brown currently is the village administrator for the village of McConnelsville in Morgan County. His last day there will be Feb. 24.

Brown is replacing Marsha Hall, who had been Baltimore's village administrator for eight years.

Hall resigned at the end of 2011 to become city administrator of Groveport.

The salary for the Baltimore village administrator Scott Brown is $58,427.20.

He will probably pay for his salary in the number of grants he obtains!
